We did take a quick trip to Carrizo Springs earlier in the month for the Dimmit County Livestock Show. We so enjoyed visiting Dana (Gemma) and Pete. It was a successful weekend as two of the calves we had sold there won Champion and Reserve Champion Steers.

On Saturday, prior to the auction, we were able to attend the dedication of the 4-H building in Charlie's memory. Dana and Pete gave money to remodel the 4-H building which was in need of ALOT of work. It turned out very very nice and it was such a generous thing for them to do. So many can benefit from the updates in the building. It doesn't seem like almost a year since Charlie left us all so suddenly. He is greatly missed and we think about him each and every day.
