Easter 2010

The Easter Bunny brought Georgia bubbles so we let her test them out... look at her piggy tails!

The weather has been so pretty lately, although a little windy, it made for a much anticipated Easter. We were so blessed to be able to be with my parents and a 2 of my 4 older sisters for the holiday, as well as my grandparents. The weather was unusally warm on Sunday - I can't remember an Easter Sunday in the past few years where it hasn't either snowed, rained, or been just freezing cold! (So the warmth was a pleasant surprise!) The church has its Easter Egg Hunt immediately following thechurch service and it was so much fun to watch. I remember as a younger member of the church (and when I was too old to hunt eggs) that we would get to put out the eggs at the end of the service just before church was over. It was hard to believe that my very own daughter was out hunting eggs for the first time. Amazing. We ate a yummy lunch and afterwards we had a hunt for the kids at MorMor & Pop's house. More candy - just what they needed!

Josef They took a bath together which freaked Georgia out because she isn't used to taking a bath with anyone. Here they are after bathtime and into their pajamas!

Johan Grotegut AKA "Cowboy Jo" He loves his cowboy hat and ran around telling us his name was Cowboy Jo. He even got upset on Easter morning because he wanted to wear his cowboy hat to church instead of the other cute hat Judith had bought to match his outfit. He threw a fit (like his cousin Georgia regularly does) because he insisted he had to wear his cowboy hat.

The weather was so crazy last week. One day you need a jacket for the first part and then some days you wanted to wear shorts! Georgia trys on her daddy's jacket. Georgia thinks she is big britches because she can climb onto the brick fireplace hearth.
It drives me bananas and I continually have to keep my eye on her for this.
This was on Palm Sunday just after we got home from church.
